FCCLA

Well I am back from nationals and they were so much fun!!! So we got to Florida Friday night LATE, LATE, LATE, but Saturday we went to Universal Studios!!! Which was a blast the best ride was The Hulk. it was totally Wicked.
Then Sunday we went to Cocoa Beach which was so much fun. then after the beach we had opening Ceremonies for FCCLA and that was fun because our state officers Dressed up as toys and came alive. that was because the theme was Being ELECTRIFIED! we also had an AWESOME speaker. Then Monday I presented my project and Mrs. Moncure and I Literally went and found Alligators! they were small ones but it took us halve the day to find them they ended up being at a place called Gator Golf, but it was worth it.

Tuesday Mrs. Moncure and I went to Epcot at Disney world and it was AWESOME because it was like traveling around the world to all these different shops. The 2 pictures shown are of Africa it was an "Out Post" but it was so cool because you got to see people actually carve like wooden animals and stuff it was sweat!

Wednesday we went to Sea World as a State and that was soo Fun. when we first arrived a Shamoo show was about to begin so we ran (literally) to the stadium so we could make it and Jeremy and I sat up front in the splash zone and we got totally Soaked it was soo fun though. then on our way out we met up with James and the three of us spent the day at sea world. we even fed Dolphins it was soo cool to feel how hey felt it was kinda weird but way fun.

Thursday was the Award Ceremony and i Got a Silver. the cool thing is, is that everyone got a metal because you were only competing agents yourselves. then later we went to Disney World Magic Kingdom and that was fun but it wasn't quite what i had expected but the past week had diffidently made up for it!

Friday was my last day of Nationals and we woke up at like 3:30 AM to make the shuttle to the airport and the plain didn't leave till like 8: 40 or something like that .

The week i spent in Florida was one of the best weeks of my life because i got to have fun and be crazy and sane at the same time. I am so glad I was able to go!

Freindship

Today as I walked outside to get the mail I had hope, silly hope, but hope none the less. I hoped I would get a letter from who I didn't mind a letter is a letter to me no matter who wrote it. As I quickly approached the mailbox ,quickly because it was raining, my excitement grew into anticipation. My had involuntarily sprung out and I opened the mail box. I squealed with delight there it was a letter for me right on top and to my amazement it was from my best friend. She moved away almost seven years ago and we have kept in touch through letters but I lost her address and she was busy so it has been a while sense our last letters but I got one today and I was so excited. To be truth full she is my best friend and I, like her, don't want to looses it, our friendship. Friends are what get us through life they help us deal with our problems no matter what they are. They are the shoulder you can cry on when you are having a bad day. They are who make you smile after you cry. They are who get you out into the world after you brake up with your boyfriend and you don't feel like living any more. Friends listen and they are there for you. Thank You for being my friend Kimi!

Future

Lately I have been thinking more and more on what I want to do when I "Grow Up" and I have realized that my dream for my future is mainly to be a wife and mother but I want to be a lawyer. Some people might have all ready known that but they probably don't know what kind of lawyer I want to be. I want to be a lawyer for abuse victims whether it is children, married couples, or some body's grandmother in a nursing home. I want to help them get justice. After I read the book "A Child Called It" I felt horrible for that kid and I just wanted his pain and agony to end so he could see how life really is. Of course I couldn't because it was a book and the boy in the story has grown up and is out of that problem now but I couldn't help thinking of all the other children in the world who are treated like that. Abused mentally and physically and I want to go out there and make a difference for them I want them to be able to grow up and full fill their dream as I one day will.
